WELCOME TO HYPERJUMP. Hello, everyone! First of all: welcome to the game! Next: thank you so much for joining us in this crazy journey. We're really excited to have everyone here, and we hope the feeling is mutual. ♥ This post serves as a catch-all introduction post for everyone so please comment here instead of making a new post so everyone can meet one another and know who's playing who. This post also doubles as our first CR/Friending meme to keep things in one place. To start with, hello! We are your friendly navigators: Hyper & Jump. (We're lame, we know.) Hyper is mostly the one replying on plurks because Jump sucks (just kidding) and handling the organizational side of things. Jump is the brains of the operations, mostly the one to write plot bits and field majority of the questions. You can poke us about anything, but maybe not about taxes. :( Silliness aside, our first CR/Friending Meme will go up at a more acceptable(ly reasonable) time tomorrow. We want to give players some time to meet each other, share silly gifs, before we get down to business and hash out plans. &heart;

hi guys!!
i thought i was done playing this loser but i guess not. my name is fidgey and i'm bringing gintoki sakata from gintama! i've had him in a couple of games in the past so maybe we've played together before.

gintoki comes from a bizarre alternate japan in the late 1800's where the japanese government has been taken over by aliens called amanto. while doing so, they've put a ban on samurai using real swords. gintoki was a legend back in the day, but now that he's out of work, he's a free lancer and will do anything given payment. he's a piece of garbage tbh but underneath all of that garbage he's got that typical ~*golden shounen heart*~ going on. he's pretty crass, rude and appears to be uncaring on the outside but he's actually very loyal once somebody becomes his friend or he finds somebody to protect.

he really likes reading shounen jump, eating parfaits and sleeping when he isn't saving the world.

gintoki is very self-aware and 4th walls a WHOLE LOT. please comment here if you don't want your character to be recognized or if you don't want him to go off on one of his stupid "main character" tangents. i'm taking him from episode 345 / lesson 605 in the silver soul arc before the shinsengumi back to town.

i've never watched gintama but i have played against a gintoki before and i remember enjoying the CR i got out of it way back then! i hope these two can get along and have fun!

this is also a placeholder for me to remember to hit up your 4th wall post haha. i don't mind some 4th walling!
